Modularis Systems was started as a company in order to bring modularity to smartphones, whether through the "Transform the smartphone challenge" set by Moto and Indiegogo or through cases and other products.
Modularis Systems is a new Glasgow based start-up that, as the name may suggest, specialises in modular technology. The team so far consists of Ross Pearce and Ross Milligan, who are both undergraduate students studying electrical and electronic engineering at the University of Strathclyde.
Meet the Team
Modularis Systems has two team members, both of whom are currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Strathclyde.
"I personally have worked with lots of consumer technology since starting my own YouTube channel where I produce high quality reviews and other technology videos. I have also worked in the online media production and social media marketing industry helping to increase brand publicity via the internet.”
“Some of my previous projects include the build and design of an underwater remote operated vehicle (ROV) which brought many challenges and required extensive problem solving skills. My ongoing project is involvement in the smart home community with the design and building of a smart kettle and making improvements on current smart lighting solutions. I have always combined my interests for business and technology, and at the age of 13 I started my own online games console repair business. The prospect of taking on this new challenge is exciting and I can't wait to get my hands dirty.”
